As you’ll see while clicking around this website, I’ve let the phrase “I can probably figure that out,” transform me into a mega multi-hyphenate.

In addition to a budding film and stage career, I’ve also become a screenwriter (with two limited series’ and one short film under my belt so far). Upon writing these things, I realized that someone’s gotta produce, direct, edit and perform an original soundtrack for them…..which “I can probably figure out”…so I did!

When I’m not singing, acting or writing, you can find me nerding out over niche music artists, creative consulting local playwrights, bustin’ out some graphic design, knitting a hat or planning out my annual spread of Halloween costumes.

My main goal—unlike that of world renowned rapper RiFF RAFF—is to bring underrepresented archetypes to the forefront. To show love to outcasts in a sincere way. I believe that specificity in art is the best way to make an impact—to make someone, somewhere feel extremely understood. The world I wish to create with my art is one where the wacky side characters are placed in their own element and given the space to shine (the movie “Frank” by Jon Ronson is a major source of inspiration for this).

There is nothing more beautiful than seeing someone be truly themselves.

From stories about alternative black girlies like myself to queer characters with rich backstories that are separate from their sexual identities, I strive to make real people feel really seen. And to celebrate the reality that lives within oddity. I strive to be seen myself, without the need to flatten into something more easily digestible. 

All it takes is someone like you—someone equally as special—to dig the vision too <3
